Welcome to Jaya Maya and thanks for stopping by! My name is Natascha Schwarzer and I like to create jewellery and homewares that are vibrant and bold, just like the tropical landscape surrounding me. The colours here in Far North Queensland, Australia, seem to be especially vibrant and my resin creations reflects that. You will find shades of aqua and turquoise inspired by the Coral Sea, the lush green of sugar cane and the deep rich green of rainforest plants. I have been collecting the bright red seeds of the Adenanthera Pavonina tree for many years and I love to incorporate them into my jewellery pieces. The seeds are also known as saga seeds or lucky seeds and are regarded as a symbol of love in many countries.
